Privacy Policy

The following information is needed for us to manage your participation in the JUSP service. We'll use it, as described in our standard privacy notice at https://www.jisc.ac.uk/website/privacy-notice, to provide the service you've requested, as well as to identify problems or ways to make the service better. The JUSP service collects your name and email address to solely contact you as a participant in the JUSP service.

The primary contact can be viewed by participants within your institution when they log into the JUSP service. If your institution chooses to restrict access to JUSP for specific users, then the nominated contacts will be presented to users when they first try to access the service. We'll keep the information until we are told that you are no longer a representative for your institution. As part of the service, we will add JUSP contacts to our JUSPLIBRARIES JiscMail list which is used to communicate any issues or updates. The JiscMail service policies are available here https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/policyandsecurity/. We will also use this contact list to send out surveys related to JUSP.

If you provide your email and select to receive the JUSP scheduled delivery service via email, we'll use it to send you usage reports monthly direct to your inbox. We'll keep the information until we are told that you no longer wish to subscribe.

To collect usage data from publishers' systems, each institution or publisher needs to provide us with details of an account on those systems. Those credentials will only be used for this purpose. We will check with you periodically (or immediately if they stop working) to ensure that they remain up to date.
