Guides to book, database and platform reports (R4)

These guides are for reports available from the Books and other (R4) area of JUSP.

Book reports

  • BR1 AND BR2 REPORTS

    The number of monthly requests for each title from a selected publisher over a selected period of time in the COUNTER BR1 or BR2 report format.

  • BR3 REPORT

    The number of monthly access denied for each title from a selected publisher over a selected period of time in the COUNTER BR3 report format.

Summary reports

  • SCONUL RETURN (FROM BR2)

    The annual SCONUL statistical return asks libraries to report on the number of section requests (COUNTER BR2 or equivalent) for the academic year 1 August - 31 July. The SCONUL return report helps provide this information for any publishers within JUSP.

  • ANNUAL SUMMARY (FROM BR2)

    The Annual summary (BR2) provides a high level summary of total book usage by calendar year. It shows the BR2 total (number of successful section requests) for the selected year or all years for each supplier.

  • TOP 100 TITLES WITH HIGHEST SECTION REQUESTS (CALENDAR YEAR OR ACADEMIC YEAR)

    Display the 100 titles with the highest number of BR2 requests by publisher or all publishers, and by calendar or academic year or all years.

  • TRENDS OVER TIME - TABLES AND GRAPHS

    Monthly and yearly number of requests from each publisher. Results are displayed as a table and as a graph.
